So, what else HAS to be done with the turbos? Now charge pipe, inlets, anything else? Do you NEED a tune?
charge pipe, intercooler and your good to go inlets and outlets are not mandatory but recommended and you might just have enoigh for it. 4k turbos&inlets with install, 500 intercooler, 200 chargepipe, and 300 for misc install kits.

not to mention this would be your biggest power upgrade and jb4 should still have you covered tunewise

This... mine just did. Listen to him! Even running stock, it will fail! You'll be getting towed home and waiting a week for parts until your car can run again.

Did intercooler, tune, upper and lower charge pipes. I'm at 380HP/370TQ. that's enogh for me. I'm still amazed when I punch it on the highway and the car blasts past everyone .....

Sounds like you got a pretty nice set-up.

BTW PA135i, is that 380HP/370TQ at the flywheel or to the rear wheels? Just looking for clarification.

Must be at the flywheel. I think I'm at 13 psi boost with my tune it's not too aggressive.

I would buy a used Ford Ranger pick up truck with my $5,000.

NERD, just kidding, not really a bad idea, but kind of unrealistic. In reality no ones going to save for "what if my car breaks" when you can mod it instead.

Go FBO, should be enough money. If you have more leftover I'd go for a set of coil overs. and m3 suspension bits.

How do you define "performance"? What's important to a drag race person is pretty much wasted money to a road course person.

So, define an end goal, and then picking out smaller targets that all lead to the end goal is much easier and way more effective. Your original question is more like "how can I spend five grand" than it is helping you pick a good upgrade...
This ^. It really depends on whether your goal is drag times or handling.

Charge pipe since it's tuned. After I'd improve the handling so RSFB or inserts, M3 control arms, diff brace, suspension (BMW perf kit/billstein/koni), tires.
