The 100l tank is nearly in and changes to exhaust to allow bigger tank. Some gaps filled around radiators and all and under trays on.
Photos too follow.
All going well we plan on testing next week at Warwick, hoping for a hot day to get true indication for Bathurst. Next race meeting two 40 lap racers at Sandown, Victoria Nov 24/25. This will be a good hit out before Bathurst 12Hour in February 2013.

New Tank

The big tank has gone in!
Limit for series is 100 litres and with pipes and everything we are under it.
This will certainly help next time out.
4 photos of tank and tub we made.

Well done.
'Hate to have the driveshaft come loose & hit the tanks though.

Looks promising, (only 1 picture available though).

Would you think a larger tank (65l < Volume <100l) is possible without need for re-piping?

I don't know, I think you would need some mods to pipes.

that rocks looks awesome.

do you have more pictures of the piping please. How did you solve it with the fuel pumps? Do you have a BMW 1M pump, one or two(one for each side of saddle). If 2 how did you solve the steering of the 2nd pump, when and how does she know that 1 saddle is empty. Do you use the original fuelmeter gauge or do you have a separate one?
Sorry lot of questions but you are the only one worldwide that have done this. If it would be the other side of the world, I would been in the next plane or driving to have a personal look at what you did but that isn't possible.

Race Win

On the weekend we had two 125km races at Sandown, Victoria. Our second race meeting in the car.

We only qualified 4th after getting blocked on quick lap.

Race 1
In 35 degrees we finished 3rd with no temp issues for water or oil. A great test in the lead up too the Bathurst 12 Hour in February.

Race 2
We passed the lead car on the last lap on the straight to win by .17 of a second.

Only 4 races in this car and 2 podiums, remembering the first long distance races we didn't have a long range tank.

A Great weekend. Thanks to all of our sponsors and to the team who have put a lot of work in to achieve this.

Photos and some incar footage to come.

We have posted a short video from Sandown last year on www.brucelynton.com then go to Motorsport.

Will also post a lap next week from Bathurst practice in the car. We had a ECU/DME issue and didn't race the car. We think the battery spiked it and didn't have a spare. Limited laps but the time was good considering traffic and getting 2-3 laps at a time, we made no set up changes as we chased the electrical issue.

5 rounds in the 2013 Australian Manufacturers Championship this, starting in May at Phillip Island.

We are currently building a second car as a customer car. Both cars will be prepared and run from our workshop. This car will be Pink!!

Shame about Bathurst Hope to see you next year!
The customer car. Is that the water damaged 1M that was recently bought at auction?
