De-badged and De-chromed

When I bought the 135i, I said to myself I wasn't going to modify it like I did with my e36 m3. Well so much for that haha. Decided to de-badge, and get rid of the chrome kidneys today. Since I didn't want any of the 135i badge to show, I thought it would be a good idea to give a nice clay and wax. Here's my mod list so far and some pics. Comments and Suggestions welcome (besides the usual get rid of the front license plate/ m license plate) Enjoy!

Mods:
Hankook Ventus v12 Tires (255 rear, 225 front)
Burger Motorsport Clutch stop
OEM 1M shift knob/ ZHP
BMW Performance Glossy Black Kidney Grills
Berk Resonated Midpipes (Connected to OEM Axle-back)

Honestly it looks great man. Simple yet clean and elegant. I love the all balcked out look up front. Im going to color match the outer part of the kidney grills to my 1er as well so I will order it with the AW surround I think it looks sportier that way when it matches verses just matte black. Normally I would say maybe smoke the tails or side markers but sense its black you need some contrast lol. Even the stock wheels still look great. Maybe a front lip or defuser and call it good.

How do you like the zhp shift knob in comparison to the stock one?

Thanks a lot for your honesty. I agree with the contrast part. I was going to put the black roundel stickers on to finish it off, but the blue adds a bit of character. If I do new wheels, I will do silver. I had a black e36 before with matte black wheels and it was a little too much

Believe it or not, it makes it feel a lot better. Maybe it's the extra weight? Definitely a worthy upgrade.

It,s just plug and play right? I have the zhp in my e30 and love it, but wasn't sure about the 1.

The car looks really good! How do you like the exhaust note with the berk mids and OEM axleback?

Yes, it is plug and play... but the oem shift boot is attached to the knob. I did not know this and tore the boot a bit. It looks fine, but it is not always flush with the shifter.

I actually like it a lot... I may even keep it this way. Has pretty much the same tone as stock, but louder. I still may do an axle back because I like it louder. Berk Sport most likely.
