building a race car and needs some money. still using the 135i for some track days, but putting some effort into getting my car (E36 M3) ready for next summer for novice class racing.

iCarbon trunks fit perfect. I have one, and a friend of mine has one here in STL.

hey, quick question on the aero latches - what are they for and will I need anything extra?

also,

what if I have the icarbon trunk and the 3rd brake light decides to crack again? can they refuse to replace it for me even though I'm still under the warranty for 2 more years?

You should NEVER install carbon hoods without some sort of safety latch. the iCarbon hood does use the OE front latch, but would never trust it out on the track or highway speeds. Aero catch latches also improve the fit cause you can adjust them etc but mainly for safety. only extra thing you will need to do is install the post in the engine bay, super easy.

not sure about that one, depends on your dealer i guess.
