Melbourne Detailing

I had asked a while back on the forums about detailing in Melbourne and was recommended to use Dan from Dan’s Garage Detailing (www.dansgaragedetailing.com). It took several months to get a slot with him as he seems to be in demand. I just got my car back yesterday and I am blown away by how good the paint looks. The car looks MUCH better than the day that I picked it up from the dealer. I picked up my partner after dark and even with very little light she was able to see the difference. If any of you need paint detailing Dan is very good.

Was it a full paint correction? How much did it set you back? Would be good to see some pics

Used to Dan nearly 2 yrs ago on my car and it is still looking great!!

Went down the paint correction and opti-coat path...and definitely no regrets!

Dan's a mate of mine, really top bloke and of course does spectacular work. Incidentally the owner of the Mclaren SLR on his page is another good mate of mine, it's a truly stellar vehicle which came up a treat after Dan went over it.

Is he able to get rid of stone chips? I have quite a few on my bonnet from trucks on the freeway. Only tiny ones but eveytime I wash my car they stare up at me.

Get rid of as in fill? You can only do your best with touch-up paint if you aren't opting for a full respray, but he was giving me some tips on how to fill them the best possible way. You'd be best to call him and have a chat about your expectations.

I had the full paint correction and protection. Was 1k to have it completed and well worth it.

I will try to get some pictures this weekend. My car is in the garage and won't come out till Saturday
