VO_1M visit's IND!

The 1M was historically significant for BMW, as it established that BMW purists were still a real and viable consumer of BMW products. The 1M was real proof that the people begging for the return of the E30 M3, the E46 M3, and other BMW M classics were real fans who were willing to back their claims up with purchases of new BMW M cars.

In that way, the 1M proved that BMW Motorsport enthusiasts were alive and well, and the specific 1M you see in these images drives that point home even further. This 1M was modified for true double duty use as a street and track car, with each component pushing the car closer to an enthusiast’s vision of the perfect modern BMW. Each part installed on the 1M contributes to the car’s dynamic nature, and gives the driver an even more interactive experience, whether on the road or on a race track. The 1M’s weight has been reduced, it’s handling and mechanical grip sharpened, and it’s high speed lift reduced to transform the already formidable sports car into a true athlete. Please enjoy the images that we captured of this very special car!

Modifications include:

KW Variant 3 coilovers
Toyo R888 tires, 265/35/19 front 295/30/19 rear
StopTech trophy four wheel brake kit

RevoZport Carbon Fiber hood, aerocatch hood pins
RevoZport Carbon Fiber trunk
RevoZport Carbon Fiber diffuser
RKP ClubSport wing
LightWeight front lip

IND gloss black front grilles
IND gloss black side grilles

That wing still looks a bit funky to me on a VO. Yet i have zero problems seeing it on an AW or bsm.

Just curious, can you color match those aerocatch hood pins to the VO? Love the hood but don't like the black pins standing out.

A color matched wing might look really nice. More similar to a GT3/4

Looks good, I prefer the rear wing black/raw carbon
which exhaust is that?

Aerocatches can be painted (they are hardened plastic), there is also a flush version of the aerocatch available too, just see the 6 hex bolts surrounding the catch.

I think this car had some minor collision. you can see the line connecting the front facia to the fenders being too close. it is actually not straight when you look at the front picture and the left fender. I hope it gets fixed because it is a beautiful car. except for the the rear black wing...

Could be as simple as the bumper not getting aligned just right when reinstalled after the body modifications.

As much as I love the ZCP's, I think this car needs something more aggressive.

^ I'd agree with that. I had a similar issue with front fender pop out, on the drivers side as well. FMIC installed and the bumper did not align perfect after re-install. Now adjusted sits perfect fine as factory.

To some of the other comments I think IND does some of the cleanest work out there. I'm sure they had a plan for the car and carried it out. Its different and I love it. ZCPs work well with it they always sat nice on the car, especially after suspension!
