135 Adaptive Headlights Error + Question

ok, I did something real dumb. I replaced my oem bulb for the angel eyes, but I guess when I closed the cover of the passenger headlight unit, I did not close it tight. I replaced the seals and everything worked fine for a while until the weather got cold.

So, I got the sweet condensation in the passenger unit, but nothing inside the drivers unit. When I start the car, and i can see both of the lights doing their adaptive tests, going up and down, but after a min, I receive a message regarding the adaptive headlight unit. I believe that, because of the condensation in the passenger unit, the adaptive headlight module might have been damaged. I tried to find a module online, but cant seem to find one.

Anyways, for now I will drive it like that, until the weather gets a bit warmer, or at least if I find a heated garage. My question is: I was thinking of replacing both headlights with the newer ones from the 2012-2013 models. Will the fit on my car?
