iPhone 4S and 135i

Fellow 1 gurus,

Have recently updated to a iPhone 4S and have only plugged the phone into the car today to play some music (radio has been sufficing for a while)

The music plays, BUT:

1) cannot search using any criteria,
2) album art doesn't show,
3) playlists don't show

Swapped out the 4S for a 4 to see if it's the car and from what I can see it's the phone because everything works with the 4.

I'm thinking that the iDrive software is not 100% compatible with the 4S.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone got a fix? Easy enough to just dig out the iPhone 3G and use that as a dedicated 'ipod' I suppose.

NB - when I go to search using Albums / Artists through iDrive, all I get is the "All Artists" ticked and the 'please wait' underneath that doesn't seem to stop searching.

Any help would be great!

Might chuck it all onto a USB and load it in tomorrow as I have a lot of storage on the iDrive

True, if only Siri looked like the mole, at least it'd be cute & adorable to look at...

UPDATE:
Fixed it, I think the cause was one too many albums on my phone. I removed a few and it all worked again. Case closed.
