M3 cowl on 135
I didn't know whether to put this in this or cosmetic section. Anyways does anyone know if you can put the m3 cowl on a 135? I have seen guys with the 335's can do it but there are diff part numbers for the 135 and 335 cowls.

Hm. Well I’ll be able to tell you in a week or so, M3 cowl is going on the E90 when it shows up. I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit though…the HVAC locations are identical, and it’s a 2 piece cowl so it just needs to mate to the 2 bolts on each fan opening. IDK I just run with no cowl

The stock cowl is large, heavy, and obnoxious to remove when you're in the engine bay. Anything aft of the oil filter housing requires it to be removed, which is just a pain. The M3 cowl is contoured and is a 2 piece cowl, so you don't need to remove it to work in the engine bay. The stock piece is a monstrosity, I ditched it the first chance I got.
