Charge pipe advice

I have decided to put a JB4 in my 135i and have heard the factory charge pipe is pretty flimsy. I have a couple of questions...

Do I need to change it if I am running a low map?
Do I need to change the diverter valve?
Is there anything else I should upgrade when running a JB4?

You only need to replace it if you're one of the unlucky ones and it cracks or breaks but that's highly unlikely. They usually fail when with a lot more power.

On the advice of Pete at advan, i got the ER charge pipe with the forge DV.. that being said I am running a stage 2 currently on COBB, and as above, don't really need the charge pipe unless running something more aggressive, unless you really need the piece of mind.
