Charge pipe advice
I have decided to put a JB4 in my 135i and have heard the factory charge pipe is pretty flimsy. I have a couple of questions...
Do I need to change it if I am running a low map? Do I need to change the diverter valve? Is there anything else I should upgrade when running a JB4? |

OP - the stock CP is plastic garbage but it will be fine in your case. You only need to replace it if you're one of the unlucky ones and it cracks or breaks but that's highly unlikely. They usually fail when with a lot more power. |

On the advice of Pete at advan, i got the ER charge pipe with the forge DV.. that being said I am running a stage 2 currently on COBB, and as above, don't really need the charge pipe unless running something more aggressive, unless you really need the piece of mind.
