Early christmas gift or...

So all the talk about JB3 and how "awesome" it is (like I knew it'd be) is making me envious. So whaddaya guys think. Enjoy my JB1 throughout the fall/winter and wait until spring for JB3 or take the plunge now and send back the JB1 to upgrade to JB3? It kills me everytime I read a "JB3 ftw!" type of thread :bangdesk:

if you are going to do it, why wait? I'm seriously considering it too but I'm thinking of getting better tires first.

Ha Ha! True dat. Still, I probably should make my priority getting a set of wheels for winter. I've got tires, so I'm set. Still the allure of more POWER....

Do you have the JB1 installed? How do you like it? Noticeable increase in power?

Yes it's a nice modest gain. And the price for what you gain in performance is unbeatable. Kind of a no brainer at $99 bucks. Put it this way. To get the same amount of performance this gives, would have cost me no less than $400 for my old STI.

Why wait? You can get PROcede V3 now for not much more (used, of course).

Well with winter months, I was just curious how this would affect wheel spin (increasing). That's why i'm hesitating. Also, wanted to give time to see if people will start to throw codes or have malfunctions (I doubt it though).

You'd be surprised how stock it can feel. I only notice the tune when I get on it more agressively.
