Installed Driverside Race Seat Only...get Airbag light...WTF?

Title says it all.

Installed driver side race seat only. Used OEM buckle and connected the wires.

I should mention that the battery was completely disconnected the whole time.

So why do I get an airbag light and seatbelt light if everything is reconnected.

I read multiple thread AND vendors saying you will not get an airbag light with a driver side only race seat. So why am I getting one now? I'm pretty frustrated.

Oh, and anyone else who asks, passenger side will be done this week and I have an emulator module for that one.

No I made sure to take everything apart carefully.

I just checked the pins again and everything is straight and the seat receptacle is fully seated into the yellow plug.

Here are current lights:

Now I have a car on the lift light. I hope to god it is Inspection I due, I'm 2500 miles away and at 27300 miles. If it is related to this airbag light I'll be PISSED

And my emulator module...which I have no f'ing clue how this will plug into the yellow slots:
