Automatic Climate Control

how to change the temperature in the climate control to
show C instead of F? The manual (non iDrive) gives instructions
only for the C/F change for the outside temperature in the
instrument cluster,

thanks,

fdc

Thanks Jack. I don't have the radio manual (still waiting for my car).
I assume from your reply the C/F can be set from the radio.
Good ... thanks a lot,

Cool

You do it as a setting in your instrument cluster. You use the same switch when your checking for oil, just press it until you see set. There is an option for setting stuff, like mpg, miles, time, and then temp...set it either c or f.

should be easy when you find it...

Does anybody know if the various display are also supported in Canada? For example, the mpg and L/km.

As for the speedometer, I guess that only the km/h is shown in Canada, right ? I have tested to car but simply cannot remember ... duh !

I think the Canada spedometer is like in Europe = only km/h.
All the rest is programmable (including the climate control as
I learned in this thread).
In US we have the double dial km/miles for the spedometer. The
only think I cannot change is the instantanueous consumption
(mpg written on the dial). When I placed the order I asked if I
could have the l/100km but I was told is not possible for the US
market ... not sure is true ...
