And ill give you a video of me vs a brand new 2012 gtr from a 40 roll on meth and im pretty sure were even.

For 60k less id call that fine and hes shifting an automatic. Get off nissans dick.

Go into a honda bubble and watch it fucking smoke a gtr and i wanna c you cry in a 1/4 then when you have nothing to say all i can do is laugh.

You can mod any car to be fast in a straight like i see no point in buying a 115k gtr.

And also sorry i dont buy used cars so id have to pass on that one.

But if you wanna really get real i pretty sure my boys gt3 will shit all over that gtr on a road course, money well spent
Your an idiot. Im done arguing with you when your whole argument is just stupid.

Your in NJ. I know tons of GTRs in jersey. if you ever want to run them after all your mods, shoot me a pm.

You do realize that a bone stock GTR did run the Nurburgring in 7:24 right? Last time I checked the Nurburgring did have a couple turns here and there.....

I think the price is quite reasonable.
Guys in the US, do not forget that the car alone is half of that price.
Also, tuning is VERY expensive in Europe and I don't think they are overpriced. If anyone is interested, read up on the cost of legislating tuning parts for street use....
Oh, and there are plenty 1M around in Europe for sale.
However, great car!!!

There are some inconsistencies on their website regarding the power output, if anyone has cared to look at the dyno graph that is posted there:
  • power output (crank) in the text of their website is 521hp
  • power output (crank) mentioned here is 514hp
  • power output (crank) on the dyno sheet is 501hp
  • drivetrain loss pursuant to the dyno sheet is almost 100hp, much too high for this car and such dyno (60hp is normal)
  • power at the wheel is 380hp only

My guess would be that they pumped up the drivetrain loss in order to reach the magical (for marketing purposes) figure of 500hp.

As to the turbos, they are from a German company called Loba Motorsport. Bigger compressor, clipped turbine just like the Helix, EPL and Turbo Dynamics stage 1 turbos that have been available for some time. Not the full upgrade with a bigger turbine wheel like RB Turbo, ASR or Turbo Dynamics stage 2. No upgraded wastegate assembly either like RB or TD provide for.

On their site the mention the complete engine is reworked (they don't mention what exactly)
Modified cooling system plus a second oilcooler
Clutch
Carbon hood and bonnet
Airbox (complete)
FMIC
Modified turbos

here you can see some pictures
http://www.tuningwerk.de/tuningwerk/...AtzSq6tDur2Io0

FYI, a 1M in Germany is about 70k USD, in Holland 110k USD

Ok, if you want three way Motons, then add $2200
What is better about the Drexler LSD? If it's a clutchpack with modified ramp angles then roughly $3500
Doubt the engine is reworked.
Additional oil cooler, just use Evolution Raceworks for $500
Clutch $1000 max
Carbon hood and bonnet are minimally lighter and will have little effect on performance
Airbox - afe intake and ER charge pipe = $600
ETS Intercooler = $899
I don't know how much new turbo cartridges run.

Anyways, that is another $8700.

You didn't read the last part of my post.

Are these numbers repeatable time after time without heat soak or are they show pony numbers?

Maybe this program makes more sense in Europe but certainly not in the US.
I was referring to your comment that a faster could be build for far less, nothing more.

This. A car with these mods, even tuned aggressively and running race gas would show about 425 on our dyno. As has been stated in this thread, a quarter-mile trap speed would tell us a lot about the performance of this car. I'm not criticizing the car, it looks nice, but dyno numbers can so easily be manipulated...

I don't see an upgraded oil cooler on their website.

They only have the additional water cooler which comes with the BMW Performance package for the 135i/335i and which is already on the 1M. I don't know whether they have installed something else on their project car.

Note that most of what they offer on their website comes from other companies, e.g. intercooler (from Wagner), water cooler (BMW), turbos (Loba)...from what I heard they do however quite a lot of custom jobs, but you won't find any info on that on their website or otherwise. I also think that the 1M project car has upgraded internals in the engine.

maybe I'm recalling a different car with way too much invested into it, but didn't this used to have orange decals? Either way, $100k no way. I can not help think of all the other cars you could purchase for that money.

My question is even if they have a demand for this where are they gonna come up with the "included 1M" I thought all 1Ms are accounted for already.

They have a performance (acceleration) video in their web site and recently they included a Spa (Belgium) Track video as well. You can see the car passing Porsches and Ferraris there but I have to say not much to see in either of the videos.

Front splitter looks good but is not something you can rock on a daily driver. Still love these M stripes? Where to buy? Anyone?

That splitter is awesome but could probably use a PDC sensor if driven around town.
