If driving is your thing, this is a good place to be. We have miles of well-surfaced, lightly travelled (and patrolled) mountain roads around here.

That one is among the biggest in the neighborhood. Might be close to $2mil. There are no shortage of nearly as impressive ones with backyards that drop away into the valley that are being given away for 2/3 price bringing them down to $700,000-$800,000. Just don't get one of the examples that's falling slowly down the hill. Oh, and there are plenty of modest houses (like mine) with SOME view for much less. Houses up here cost no more than similar ones in the valley - the value of the spectacular views is offset by the inconvenience of the distance from the city and the crazy winters. |

That's one mean machine. Love the murdered out look with the touch of red on the inner barrels of the wheels to really set it off. Awesome.

I grew up in New England and have only lived in Dallas for 2 years, so part of me misses the mountains and snow. I much prefer Dallas to New England though. SLC is unique in that its gorgeous, its snowy and mountainous, its relatively inexpensive, you can drive to Vegas in 6 hours to escape the winter weather, you can be in SoCal in a days drive... I've never been so I'm already planning to visit sometime to see what it's all about. I'm not really a winter person though, and New England winters were long and dreary...rarely saw the sun...are SLC winters similar? And yes, I love to drive. DFW sucks for people that like to drive....all the roads are flat and loaded with traffic.

Nice shots, glad to see another car fan that mods their BMW in SLC. Where were those shots taken? I want to go up and get some of mine before the lease is up.

Suncrest. Up Traverse Ridge Road above Draper. Your pics will look different, though - we got a lot of snow up here now.

this looks sooo good, I cannot wait for my gloss vinyl trim to be put over my aluminum! I was lookign at the gts-r rims as they are insanely light- did you notice a difference in acceleration, braking, handling, etc with them due to the reduced rotating/unsprung weight?

I didn't even notice the mudflaps until someone said something. It's just one of the blackest cars i'v seen. Looks good.
