Is it me or does this car look lower than the other cars we've seen so far?

I noticed in some of BMWs promo shots of the car that it looks lower than the ones shown at auto shows. The front end of the cars at shows looks unnaturally high, it wouldn't stop me from getting it, but it did look a little goofy.

Given the power output of the RS4 @ 420, the S4 seems more reasonable @ 340.

Even so, it is unmistakably an RS/S4.

Interesting point!
But since the 1M is braking that's my guess for the lower look.

The 1M driver could certainly do with further driver training. Lack of observation of cars ahead, dazzling drivers behind with brake lights when stationary and not signalling to other road users, were just a few of the ones I noticed. Looks like a crash waiting to happen.

Good one, 1 liter in the UK is about 2 $, while 1 gallon in the US is about 3 $... so 1 gallon in the UK should be about 8 $ (correct me if I'm wrong). Well, that's quite a difference.

And then people compare a new 1M with a used M3 as the M3 would be a better deal, but they forget the mileage (which is getting a more and more important aspect in Europe).

I second that emotion.

Our fuel prices aren't as bad as our brethren across the pond but no where near as good as our friends to the south of us.

*Corrected*
£1.00 = $1.61
$1 = £0.62

1L = 0.264G
1G = 3.79L

£3.39L(¿Premium?) = $5.54L
$5.54L = $20.99G

Is my math right?
My local gas station has Premium going for $3.43/gal right now.
This should be about 90¢/Liter or 55p.

Waiting on my VO 1M.

Nope..... 133.9p/L for non-premium. Premium is about 136.9p/L at the moment.

I don't think all if us are like that. I have family in Spain and Switzerland so, i know how bad gas prices are across the pond.... Even taxes on new cars i hear are quite pricey as well....

When I saw the 1M in Detroit the wheel gap seemed 1/2 of what a lot of pics looked like. The car was empty so it wasn't as if an overweight McFamily was tearing apart the interior either.

Garage List
2015 BMW 118d  [0.00]
2011 BMW 1M  [10.00]
The camera car is an Audi B7 S4 or even a RS4.
(the air condition outlet and speaker looks the same, also the sound of the V8)

If it would be a M3 we would see the power-dome and the nice little V8 would be louder

It is definitely not an RS4 - RS4's are all manual.

Sorry, my mistake. The 133.9p/L price will be for diesel.

The upper price of 128.9p/L will be for non-premium gasoline.

It's turning right, so the suspension is compressed on the left..

Wouldn't say it's already turning at this moment. I guess it's more due to the quality of the vid/pic.

Err...... as he was going to be turning left into BMW-GB HQ just after the lights I suspect 'being on best behavior outside the office' may have been in his mind
Little did he know his driving indiscretions a mile earlier were being filmed from the car following him

Ahh, that makes sense I didn't realize he was heading to HQ.
