Order to pick-up estimates?
I'm wanting to surprise my wife this May with a convertible, and I'm considering the 128i. I'm specific on options I want, so I think I'll have to order. I ordered the X3 I now have, but that went smoothly and on time, I'm guessing since it was produced in SC. I'm needing this 128i conv. order to be within a specific time period, so I'm wondering if that will be possible to bet on
Are the 1 series produced in Germany? What's the average time it takes between placing the order at the dealer and actually taking possesion of the car?

Yes; produced in Germany. Mine took about 9 weeks.

Mine took about 11 weeks, but that was with PCD. I prolly woulda gotten it quicker if I had taken delivery from a dealer.
