A few pics form the weekends Pistonheads Sunday Service @ the Vauxhall Heritage Centre.

Photos by Mikeblue1 & Bryan Janes

And have to add this E30, one of the cleanest examples I have come across, the owner chopped in his Z4M and got to work with nigh on a full restoration from complete engine rebuild to the interior. And this is no garage queen with over 100k miles on the clock.

It was time to add a splash of colour to the engine bay, all thanks to my mate Lee at http://crashcarecentre.com/

+1. Just when I started thinking that he must be out of new ideas!

It is a hand made custom axle back by Hayward & Scott. Popular with the Porsche, STi & Evo crowd.

Matched to the N55 midpipes.

Was visiting London a few weeks ago staying at St. George's Wharf. Whilst walking along Wandsworth Road near Vauxhall bridge I saw a beautiful white 1M drive by and thought to myself "I wonder if that is Aussie in London". About 2 minutes later a beautiful VO 1M raced by. I may have been correct from the look of your pictures from the Vauxhall Heritage Centre.

Very good chance it was if it was a weekend as I am just a bit further back down along the river down near Tower Bridge, and do cross the river often via Vauxhall Bridge and head out through Chelsea.

Pleasant coincidence to travel half way around the world and fortuitously encounter a fellow forum member and 1M owner. Only have encountered one other 1M in the wild while visiting Texas for the F1 race.

If it was indeed you, your exhaust note was fabulous.

Long time since an update, and the only real update has been a the recent fitment of a Recaro young profi plus baby carrier in the rear of the cabin

What a cutie!

Don't we just love the 1M's versatility, we might as well call it the "1V".

(retrofit option 470, passenger airbag deactivation for longer trips without neck strains)

Total agree, very versatile and a great all-rounder, the need for another car, not required!

The boot recently swallowed up 3 bags and a mountain buggy terrain for a 3 day getaway

(UK 1M comes standard with front occupancy airbag deactivation)

Car looks absolutely brilliant mate. Tasteful mods, nothing over the top...really dig it!

In fact, I think I may have seen it in person before! Did we meet at Spa about 12 months ago? Three aussie guys who hired the Exiges and 2-11, we had a chat and you mentioned that you had a OPC race car so I put two and two together, hopefully it makes four

Cheers,

Dane

Such a small world

That was an awesome day, and I'd much rather be back there than stuck here at work...Hopefully I'll be back in the next few years.
