What company? What type of gain? Price? Remap of ECU required (as per dinan)?

Nice! I'm guessing if that's full SS, then I would expect the price to be around $1800.00?? Very curious to see what it does on the dyno.

From the look of it, its a Supersprint. I would just like to know how loud is this exhaust compare to the stock

well...I'm sure that BMW and other european brands charge a lot more than american parts...never really knew why exactly but people still pay for it. I liked the superchip of Fords (chipping without taking the ECU out) and that cost around 4xx to 5xx...The PPC (same product but for my Volvo S60) cost about 8xx to 9xx.

Also would be useful to know how this compares to the Sport Muffler that BMW promised to release for the e90 near launch. BTW. Does anyone have the part number for BMW Sport Muffler?

I would expect more gains from this setup vs. the sport muffler from BMW as the system above is a full exhaust, not just a cat-back or a muffler alone.

I agree. Let's hope the dynos show a bump in power. This looks like it's the first aftermarket mod that can show how much power can be massaged from the E90. Keepin fingers crossed.

That link has pictures of all the pieces.

Unfortunately(?) the BMW isn't a Mustang. I saw probably 40 new Mustangs this weekend while traveling - wild how many are out already. Not one E90 - even though I went to the race track! Even after some time, the numbers are just not there to justify the mass production that makes parts for some cars so cheap. It isn't just that BMW is a more expensive car and the manufacturers gouge. For example, one of the companies we work with makes Flywheels for BMW and Honda - the Hondas outsell the BMW about 50:1. That is economies of scale in action!

That is a sweet looking exhaust. I don't think the price is that bad either. can't wait to see the HP/Torque numbers. Keep us posted

My God, price is alot lower than what I expected! My SS header and exhaust for my current car cost me over $900.00! Anyways, how much is labor running to install the whole system?

I think $900 is just for the exhaust (muffler+tips), the header is $1600. At first I thought $900 was for the whole thing too!

Wow! Well, that changes my thinking from, yes, that's a possibilty to no, not gonna happen! I was pretty off in my price estimation of $1800 for the whole system!

After they come out with some Hp numbers, it should be easier to decide if 1800 is a good price or not.

It is a direct fit for the 325 as well. Also, I will have software tuning done soon. My tuner thinks there is definitely some room to gain power. Will post results as soon as we have time (race schedule demanding now).

Has anyone bought the supersprint exhaust or headers yet? Curious how it sounds and if any gains from it.

JamesC, any new news on the software tuning?

Thanks.

First shipment hits the US any day. We have been super busy - 4 races in 6 weeks. Will have more on the E90 progress when we get settled down a little. For now, it is parked with some new goodies on it while we are in Portland for the week.
