see the difference?

Everyone should get these! amazing! the pictures dont really do it justice, I wanted to put a lawn chair out and crack open a beer and just stare at them! and the do it yourself on here was great except i think they forgot to mention one clip which was well hidden. only took a complete moron an hour to do it! first time ive ever worked on a car. I then moved on to the camry where I replaced the washer pump and sprayers! i love working on cars i think! new hobby! next is the carbon mirror covers as the white ones are driving me nuts now! agree?

Congratulations or should I offer condolences - to your wallet? If you do the mirrors you HAVE to do the spoiler and since you have AW you have a huge choice of aftermarket wheels that will also look great. Then there are lights, tuning, suspension, exhaust, so on and so on. Opening the hood was like finding a new way to feed your 1 addiction.

Nope - me too

Each to their own, but IMHO you've gone backwards in both aesthetics and appeal with such a mod...

In my eyes it dosn't look as good as the original chrome accented grille and also cheapens the look of the car...no offence just my 2 cents

I think it makes the car look meaner! the chrome looks like its made of plastic which is cheap! either way they pop right in and out so who cares i can be chromed out again in thirty minutes! life is good!

i think the 128i grills are perfect, with just the border in chome. it gives just the right amount of bling to the front, and paired with a chrome license plate frame it's money, IMO.

I am running mine with the black surround and the chrome slats right now.

I think I am going to change them to all black though.

The problem with the chrome ones on a Sport package is that there is not any chrome any where else on the car besides the grills so they do go with the flow:iono:

If I had non-sport package with the chrome trim I would stay with the chrome grills...

remove them and take them to a good paint shop and have them color match the outside rim of the kidneys to match your AW...that it how BMWs should come.

GMAG - you can buy these from dan at united bmw
Creepy - your dealer is dumb, you just pop the old ones out and pop the new ones in, as you may notice, i dont have the performance bumper.
