Angel Eyes

Whats the difference between the GP Thunder 7500k and 8500k. I bought the EFX h8s (HUGE MISTAKE) and im looking and doing something a little more than stock. I like the white/blue color of the led's but am not intersted in dealing with the basalts. I take if the GP thunders are my best bet? and where can i get the best deal?

I hope you're not spending anywhere near $100 for the GP's, as you can get RD's LED for that amount.

Also, what do you mean "dealing with the ballasts"? There is no "dealing" with them, they fit right into the headlight housing and looks completely stock from the outside, waterproof and all.

i would be buying the gp's for 15 dollars or so and its a pain to install the basalts on my car because the dealer (i think) installed some 'advanced battery charging system' that sits right in front of the drivers headlight cover making it impossible to remove. Also not interested in spending big money again for leds.

Ahhh, I see. But how are you going to get the GP's in, as you'll still have to remove the covers to get them in, right?

Yeah EFXs are a mistake. I used to have them myself and had to get rid of them. I switched to another pair of LEDs for now. BTW, if you're looking to get GP Thunders, I have a pair of 7500k for $10+shipping if you need. I bought them for color testing after getting rid of the EFXs. They were used twice.
