I am in Bloomington indiana. They bolt in, the trickiest part is making sure you have the correct harness to hook up the seat for your config of car.

I shipped 2 seats from Charlotte, NC to NY for about $35 per front seat with Fed Ex. I boxed them in bubble wrap and folded them up into a box and had no issues. 35 pounds per and off they went.

On topic I put M3 seats like these in my 3 series and they are the best mod I have ever made, 100,000 miles later they are still in decent condition and people comment on them.

Last buyer flaked on me. So back up for sale. Seems like it would work best for someone who can collect

Rekindling old thread!
Were these child seats that you are referring to, weighing in at 35 pounds? An M3 seat weighs 65-68lbs each.

I'm curious as well. Recaro Sportster CS is 32# I believe though. I took OEM Recaros out of an Audi I used to have and with leather, heat, power, airbags, and suspension, they had to have been 70#+. Swapped 'em for some used Kevlar BRIDEs at some 14# each. I think as uncomfortable as they were and how difficult it was to enter/exit the car with fixed seats contributed to my divorce.

Updated with some pics (apologiese iphone camera at the end of useful life and tired operator). Tries to show the drivers side has slight bolster wear and a scratch which looks worse with a flash than it is.

It was polite of you to not call me out directly for flaking terribly on you. I know it's too little too late, but truly and honestly my mother's mom died and I was swamped with shit. I should have called you directly, I should have notified you. I was a complete and total dick.

Bump?
