Thanks. Is it just me or does the 1er actually appear bigger?

Yes it does, it looks like that little brother who you always picked on when he was little, but then grew up to be bigger then you, now your sorry because he can now beat you into a pulp. (Happened to me)

It just looks bigger because it is a little taller. Look at how much bigger the windows are on the 3-series on the third pic.

The 1er looks like its about to tip over its so tall - i hope it doesnt look like that in person.

Looks so juvenile... i hope it appears more muscle than in the pictures. Those giant headlights - heard they are the largest in the bmw range, bigger than the X5 or 7er make it look tiny.

Those are great comparison shots. The 1's resemblance to the E46 is one of many reasons why I ordered a 135i. I don't particularly care where BMW went with the e90.

+1, I wish it was actually even smaller and a true 2+2.

I wish it sat a little lower to the ground. They actually both look very similar.

Are they the same color white? The 330ci looks more faded.

LOL the 135i headlights make the car look wide awake and ready to go. The e46 looks sleepy!

Here's what I like. There's a lot better spacing on the 135i rear wheels. It's always bugged me that my E46 rear wheels tuck under the car too far. BMW did a great job fixing this on the 1.

Take a look.

The 1er= natural evolution of the e46. The 1er is the real 3 series.

Just remember 135 is on 18's and e46 is on 17's. I was always amazed at how much lower my e46 got when i swapped on my winter 17's from 18/19's.

besides, Coils will solve the height difference immediately.
