Well it's good to be back but I'm gonna miss my car! Last I tracked it on Friday it made it to port in Belgium, looks like it should board the ASIAN CHORUS vessel, I am crossing my fingers for 5 weeks delivery from then!!! I let a friend borrow the car for his wedding, I think it turned out well with all the deco on it, but that wont ever happen again! Cant wait for the car to star modding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the continuation of that AW porn!

5 weeks for re-delivery would be pretty quick. My car is also going through the West coast, but I am expecting 8 weeks. It didn't help that it sat on the docks in Southampton for two and half weeks.

Dropped off in Paris CDG on 05/29. Picked up at Savge BMW in Ontario, CA today! Car has minor scrapes underneath bumper so there was a damage report I just have to bring it back in for body shop to work on it. Told them they didnt need to wash the car i just wanted to drive it back (still at work but managed to get off to go pickup the car) but they did give me a full tank of gas (i dropped it off in Paris with 5 miles left of autonomy ha ha ha). here are some parking lots pics!!!!!!

So, Kirk, what's with all the BMWs in front of the Toys R Us? They are all yours? If I knew there was going to be a display today, I would have driven by (I live in Rancho). By the way, who is your CA at Savage? Just started working with them on an upcoming 135i coupe purchase for the fall possibly, once my lease is closer to ending. So far I really like the guy I am working with.

ha ha yes that is me! Jim Straley asked me if I'd like to be there for this month's newsletter and i said hell yah. Savage BMW is also launching their nitro fill program for tires, I will keep you posted if you are interested. All but benefits if you switch over from oxygen to nitrogen!

Awesome pics - especially of the interior - they are the most detailed I've seen so far, well done

It's great to see some alternative interior colour combinations with the AW exterior colour and the lemon there looks fantastic, thanks for sharing, gives us people who havn't fully decided yet, more food for thought

...wait til i post pics of the black trim update. i went out and ordered all new A, B, C pillars, headliner, and all grey pieces in the car to black. my tech just got done doing the car tonite, i will take pics tomorow, the transformation is how the car should have been built to begin with (i think CANADIANS do get it that way).

I can't say for certain, but I think that's also how we get it here in Australia too...

You are right though, it'll look much better with the headlining and all those other bits in black - then it's all consistant, with an interior of all lemon and black = outstanding

Look forward to the pics

Hahahaha LOL...

Don't start hating us yet though, as I'm not certain if that's the case with lemon interior

I have seen several 335i's here in AW with savanah interior and that colour continues over the inner A, B and C pillars and headlining - not sure if it's the same in the 1er and/or for lemon...

If I find out for certain I'll write it up here

Lemon interior looks great. So all 4 of those BMWs are yours? Which one do you like best?

By the way, you may want to try the CF dash and door handle interior trim. Still provide the lemon and black contrast but with a twist.
