Bat Attack!

Popped to the shop this morning, couple of strange looks from passers by.... get home, park my car, and then notice something on the front grill. I thought it was a leaf, but just as I go to 'bat' it off I see this...

Please no jokes about 'driving like a bat out of hell' :biggrin:

Luckily no damage!

A few years back, my dad had a Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. It had a mesh grille. We did kind of the same thing as you, noticed something up front and went to knock it off to find it was a bat in there. It actually trashed the grille and it had to be replaced.

...could be a cool pet if it's still alive... Feed it some grapes and let it chill out in your backyard.

On the other hand, if the little guy is toast, do him proper and make him a tiny coffin to bury him. For added effect, write "here lies Dracula: though he sucked alot of blood, twas the turbo of a 135 that nearly sucked him in."

hah hah, but technically, OP was driving too fast!!! the sonar of the bat did not even had the chance to bounce back before the 1 hit it. Hmmm, by using scientific method, i there fore conclude 2 things. The 1 is really fast or the bat is an 1addict like me!!! Ha ha ha.

Actually the bat grille mod is a new stealth application. Once bitten, your 1 series becomes invisible to the rearview mirrors of other vehicles. Then BAM! you blow past them coming out of nowhere.
