BMW Performance Wheels style 269
I'm looking at the BMW Performance Wheels style 269 for my 135i. According to the BMW website the offsets are 7.5J x 18 front, 8.5J x 18 rear for these. I would like to run a 225/235 in the front to help with understeer and possibly a 255 in the back. Rolling the fenders is not an option at this stage.
So my question is does anybody know what the maximum tyre size is that I can fit onto these wheels? |

they are the exact same offsets as oem wheels. you can run up to a 235 up front and 255 out back.

Check out this link.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=294702 I put Z4/E46 18 x 8 and 18 x 8.5 wheels on my car using 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires. I even mention in the post you could use the style 269 Z4/E46 wheels to get an 8" wheel upfront, wider track, and would get a better fit with the front wheel tire combination. If it was me, I would do this. It has been great for me.... |

Probably depends on the tire you buy. My buddy has 235 star specs up front and it looks nice.

Dan from United BMW is selling these on his site but he has not listed the offsets. They are listed under the E46 Performance Wheels section, however he does not have anything for the E86. Do you think the E46 offsets will rub?? It seems like Evan135i is running this setup with no issues at all.
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=6218 They are a $1650 vs $1848 for proper 1 series performance wheels... that's $200 cheaper! |

Just to verify for you, the E46 wheels in the 269 style you want have the exact same offset and size as the wheels you saw in the pictures of my car. They do fit well.
They also look nice as they fill the wheel wells without sticking out and going to the larger front tires does tame the underdsteer a little, |
