A dealer can not "void" a warranty solely base on the addition of aftermarket accessories. They can only choose not to fix certain things if they can prove that the part was a direct cause of the failure that you are attempting to have them repair.
I just didn't feel like going through the run-around with them. If something was wrong with my car at that time, then I would have lol

Got the car on the lift for some fiddling w/ Clem on Saturday morning. Washed the car and did a lazy claying of a few spots, drove the piss out of the car, got upset over the stupid P29 fuel mixture code it threw, drove the piss out of it more while logging a bit, reflected on how much I love this motor. Oh and put the top down for the first time in months, probably since some time in October. Bad news is my turbo seals aren't playing nice and I have a bad feeling my injectors are on the way out. Let's hope i'm wrong!

Complete interior/exterior detail including carpet vacuum and shampoo, wash, claybar, and zymol (plus touch up paint for two rock chips). Looks almost brand new. Also filled up the tank for a drive tomorrow and parked in the garage to avoid the pollen, dust, and other pollutants.

Nice, thorough wash today... The Menzerna Power Lock still seems to be holding up.

Granted, it's not as slick as it was after the application, but the water's still beading quite well.

Does it rain there often?

BMW1racer, I am going the opti-coat route this spring after I polish it to perfection. I am pretty sure I will still go with Power Lock for other cars I work on, but I wonder how long it will hold up here in Rochester NY where the weather is constantly changing compared to your environment.

Panth...weather constantly changes here and I'm going strong a year later with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant. Just an FYI.
Also, it doesn't seem like you can go wrong with any of the "Big 3"...Wolfgang, Menzerna or BlackFire. The majority of the
detailing forums out there sing the praises of all three and after that, it really just becomes a matter of personal preference.
Happy sealing!

Not much at all really... We're in a drought situation more times than not.

Yeah, your weather is considerably more harsh than it is here, so it's really more of an acid test for waxes/sealants... Good luck!

That's the thing, I regularly use Blackfire wet diamond sealant. It literally lasts two weeks Even though it's fun to apply, it just does not last here. Period.

Still working on some tweaks, but right now the android side is what I use the most. The DVD player is great, and the radio is nice with RDS.
