Wtf
Got a new 2012 in may my car has 5500 miles and has already had 2 major, parts required break downs. One dealing with a melted connector for the adaptive steering system. Then a complete engine shutdown dealing with the double vanos system. Has anyone else been experiencing this. I have the 135i coupe m sport.

Wow, that sounds terrible...Never heard anything like this in the 2012's. Just get it fixed, thanks to warranty and move on! Hope everything turns out okay.

Well.. the forums are your best friend. The 135 has been a source of some issues that are well documented on this forum. It's unfortunate. But get it fixed.. you have 4 years to decide if the maintenance/reliability is something that you want to deal with...

Wow thats unfortunate, the 1 is not the most reliable car on earth, but i havent seen many vanos issues, certainly not on what is basically a new car.
