I got $1200 over ED invoice before the allocation issue came up as well. Since then I haven't heard of anyone getting more than a couple of hundred below MSRP.

No, ED invoice. I put money down and made the deal last November. At that point everyone thought there would be an ED allocation . I actually thought it was higher than it could have been but they were resistant to go any lower. Then the announcement came out and I found out I got a pretty good deal.
