New Wheels

I need to purchase a new set of wheels for my summer tires. I don't want to spend too much money, but I don't want to buy crap. I'm considering ASA GT1 wheels but I have no idea if they are good wheels or not. I'm doing research but any suggestions would be welcome. I'm also considering O.Z. Ultraleggeras but they are a bit pricey.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for the idea. But im looking for a wheel a bit less shouty. Like a DTM style spoke or an M style spoke.

I think ultras would look too small on the car. They're great looking rims, but they're really skinny and would mess with the design.

I can see that. Thats why I was thinking the ASAs. They have more of an M style and theyre a good price. But I just need to know if its a decent wheel, like will it last when I drive on it.

if the D-force ltw-5 fit the car those aren't very shouty at all, are lightweight, and not too pricey...

For what it's worth, I've had multiple sets of ASA wheels on cars I've owned and they've never been anything but great for me.
I'd put them on my car in a heartbeat.

I've seen those rims on the 3 series and they look great but from what Gill told me, the offset is pretty low and don't fit all that well. It is doable tho.

Question Gill, if someone were to install those Breyton Race GTS onto a 1er, what sort of problems would they encounter?

You can only fit the GTS-R on the 1, but they look very similar. Getting a set of these and having them powder coated was one of my serious options. What's your budget? Are you looking for the same size as the OEMs? I know you have the PS2s on which you probably want to reuse so that may be a limiting factor depending on their size. Let me know if you could go wider and would be interesed in 18" Forgestar F14s. I'm sure you could also still get in on the 18" Alufelgen CSLs group buy, but you wouldn't have them for the summer. Both of those options would be less than the OZs.

Wow, you guys brought this thread back from the dead. I decided not to mess with offsets and buy a set of 313s when I save up the necessary cash.
With my luck my HPFP would fail and the dealer would blame it on improper offsets causing strain on the drivetrain.

That being said, if the Forgestar buy is for perfect offsets I will most likely be in.
Hoping for that $1300 price for the set.
