I'm with you. Everybody and their stupid phones and ipads, walking down crowded streets or skyscraper lobbies half a mile an hour blocking foot traffic, smashing into others, unable to figure out what floor the elevator is on, etc. etc.

The only positive though is when I see people at work or in the elevators at work that I really don't want to talk to or deal with, I PRETEND to be doing or reading something on my phone. Squinting adds to the effect and makes it look serious. So, once in a blue moon it's a wonderful avoidance technique.

To make a long story short, my car is clean, so now it's on topic. =)

Getting my car washed at my favorite detailing place as we speak. This is the first time my car has seen anything but my own personal hand washing, but I really trust these guys so I'm anxious to see how it comes out!

Euro warning triangle installed, saved a few bucks by buying the Audi / VW triangle over the BMW one. Works totally fine with BMW mourning hardware.

That was my first choice, but due to the contours of the metal (to the right of the hood latch), the PPK badge was too rigid for that spot in my car. You sure yours will fit there?

I'm guessing on my desk still doesn't count? I'm lazy for starters, but was contemplating the Dinan Stage 2 and still am to some degree, so will likely hold off until I ultimately make a decision on that since that'll negate/override the PPK2.

You're lucky jkoral, that's the only spot I really wanted to put it but my car has the black sticker owen's does smack dab in the middle of that piece. The thin metal rail just behind the hood latch was my next option, but the PPK badge is a lil too big and too rigid to go there. Your picture also reminds me how much better looking the N54 was, especially for those who got their engine cover painted to match their exterior color.

I wonder if I should just remove the black sticker, clean it off with some adhesive remover and just put it there anyways. I forget what's on that black sticker. Here's what it looks like under my hood as I was mocking up where to do it:

Yeah, I agree w/ greg. You're pretty lucky to have that spot free That would have been a killer spot for the PPK badge in our cars.

I think I messed around with the idea or removing that black sticker thing, greg. But at the end of the day, it wasn't gonna come off very easily and I didn't want to mess it up.

Hello everyone I was hoping someone could help me figure out why when I run a vin decoder for a 2009 vin last 7 digits VK79668 it's saying it is a 135is...?? Now I only thought they made these bad boys in 2013?

This has been covered before that BMW used the "is" designation internally and owners may have seen the moniker show up on build sheets for earlier year mods but the officially 135is as separate "model" if you can even call it that (ie 135 with all the "is" goodies like ppk, style 313's, special leather stitching, etc.") was only released in 2013.
