N55 135i reduced engine power and SEL light

I've done some searching but I have not found the answers I was looking for. I really need some help identifying some codes for my 2011 135i N55 DCT. As of recently my car has been randomly displaying the reduced engine power and SEL light after starting the car. And I am worried that my JB4 may be causing damage (should I be worried )

Any help diagnosing these codes would greatly appreciated

make sure all of your harness connectors are secure. Are you running the stage 2? Or the first stage?

This happened to me when I originally installed stage one. I had more of the harness hooked up than I was supposed to. (you only connect the first 2 on stage 1) The instructions are misleading if you read through them quickly like I did.

You may have have damaged your Mass Air Flow sensor. IF that is out of wack you'll get CEL and loss of power because the car is going into limp mode because it thinks it needs to protect itself based on erratic readings from the MAF.

I'll dig out my scanner and enter those codes tomorrow and let you know. Hopefully its something small.

I got the same a while back from my N55, reduced power messages and CEL's.

No codes being shown when plugged in at dealer.

Eventually traced to a faulty coil pack on cylinder no. 5.

Thank you!

I have the stage 2.
I'm hoping that it is only the MAF sensor nothing else.

I didn't - the dealer did.

Wasn't logging any stored fault codes, but when Tech plugged in the data logging kit and drove the car for a bit the live logging showed the coil pack as being not 100%.
Well that's what the dealership told me.
Only problem was there were no CP's in stock in the UK at the time and I had to have a loaner for a week while they waited for them to come from Germany.
