Offered for sale is a BMW - E8X/E9X Headlight Control Element Switch. Genuine, original equipment European Spec BMW part featuring the rear fog light button which illuminates as well as halogen leveling wheel. Awesome OEM+ upgrade for your US Spec E8X rather than hacking your original. Switches are in great lightly used condition (9/10), fully operational (has been tested on my E9X) and being sold as-is. Switches were acquired from E8/E9X from around Europe and imported to the US. ECS Tuning and Turner Motorsports sell these for $170+.

Only have a few left, some are accounted for already by fellow forum members. Please see my other for sale posts for information, feedback/reviews and more photos!

Do you have any left with the "A" automatic headlamp setting? Ideally without the halogen adjuster wheel, but if it's just ignored with my Xenons I don't think I care that it's there.

4 complete control units still avaliable and can be shipped within one day. Also available are just the rear fog button/pusher piece or just the pusher piece if needed, front fog buttons, US and Euro circuit boards, used OE knobs and halogen (no AHL) dials. I am not a scammer, I operate as a registered business entity, I prefer to complete the transaction via direct PayPal invoicing but, I have also created eBay listings for these items as well.

Complete - $60
Rear Fog/Pusher Piece - $35
Pusher Piece - $12

E9X Button + Pusher Combo

E9X Pusher Piece Only

Sorry for the delayed responses. I have sourced more of these and they are in-transit from Europe with an estimated arrival of May 1st. Complete units, button pusher combos or rear fog buttons only are available for pre-order and I will update my eBay listings accordingly when they are cleaned and tested and ready to ship. Please DM or email to be invoiced. Thanks.

How is the pusher piece and switch installed?

Where is the eBay link for this piece?

You'd need a small, preferably electronic device sized flathead to pop open the control housing and to release the blank panel to swap in the rear fog button itself and the pusher piece just sits on the inside of the control module housing. Linked below is the eBay link for them but I will not update for immediate purchase until I actually have them in hand, ready to ship.

Does the switch without the adjustment wheel work on Halogen cars? I don't believe my headlights are adjustable so would rather have the switch without, but descriptions online refer to this as for Xenon cars. A little confused.

For the rear fogs, yes. The adjustment wheel is for vehicles without adaptive/auto headlights but will not work with US Spec vehicles regardless without programming. I have Auto/Adaptive avaliable, without wheel and without front fogs if needed. The ones without the adjustment wheel are for non-auto vehicles. The majority of these pieces are interchangeable and I have just enough that I can mix/match the pieces for your preference at no additional costs.

I don't want a useless levelling wheel when my car doesn't support it.

I have no need for your animosity. I replied to this while underground commuting and the whole message did not load as fast as you may have needed. Cheers...
