Anyone know how to remove the chrome engine start button bezel?
Yes I searched, and I realize this should be straightforward, but I didn't want to start prying at things without first asking.
Basically, I wrapped all of my aluminum trim with 3m dinoc vinyl this past weekend, but now the engine start button bezel really stands out and looks bad. I want to wrap it too, so does anyone know how to remove it? Just pop it out with a trim tool? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks! |

Here's a junky pic I just took, sorry, iphone pic and it's dark. I'm going to take a bunch of pics of my car this weekend and post a new thread. Anyway, I've wrapped my whole interior, door handles too etc in 3M dinoc. Start button was way harder to do than I imagined lol. Not much surface area to work with, it was very difficult not to have it bunching up in several places. Took me over an hour (!) to do, way more time than even the door handles! Steering wheel trim was a piece of cake however, plenty of room on the plastic to overlap the vinyl.
Also, just a quick preview of my new Slek trunk, quad exhaust, and carbon diffusor to match. Many more pics to come this weekend! |
