Dealing with chipped paint

I have 2 pretty nasty chips in the paint of my AW hood. What would be the easiest way to deal with it? I know a body shop would suggest repainting the whole panel which seems rather excessive. Do you guys just live with it?

Pic attached.

Garage List
Dr Colorchip for chips, Langka for scratches

Wait a month for the paint to cure and then get a clear bra or be ready to fill in more chips down the road. More than anything you should consider getting film for the headlights. Chip on paint is bad, chip/crack on headlight cover sucks big time.

Car body shops use something they call a "sword brush" for touch ups. I've never used one however they are supposed to have a really tiny point so that they don't overfill the defect, which is what gives the typical touch-up-paint-look that generally looks worse than the original chip looked before a fix was attempted.

I have had 2 A/W bimmers and have always found that the BMW touch up kits work fine . Unless you are really looking for the chip you can hardly see it.
IMO A/W is the best for hiding all manner of chips and scuffs.

Pretty happy with Dr. Colorchip. Nothing special, just gets the job done quickly and simply.

I had bad experiences with factory touch up paint on other cars before.

Dr. Colorchip is very easy and I was happy with the results on my hood.

After:

Filled about 20 chips so far.
