This exhaust sounds good and fits perfectly.
I'm open to offers. Would be willing to trade for a set of 261 M Sport package wheels.

yes, the mid pipes have a secondary set of cats on it. they are not necessary for the car, however your dealer may not be happy about them missing.

Won't that cause the car to fail emissions??..most of 135's won't need them until 2013 anyway but will eventually need it. I don't want to have to switch back and forth to different exhaust which I have done in the past and it was a pain in the ass, especially on my 350 because of the way the bolts were designed on the cats.

from what i've heard, the 2 cats in the downpipes are more then enough to pass emissions, however, i have not experienced this myself, so i can't guarantee it.
the secondary ones are just what the name says however. BMW show so little concern over them that they don't even have O2 sensors on them to monitor if they are being effective or not. Which i think it strange considering that catalytic converters are not cheap due to the materials used in them. I think it was just a way for BMW to maybe get closer to that practically zero emissions label that some cars are starting to get. They have also been placed so far from the engine that i wonder if they get hot enough to be effective for removing many toxins from the exhaust itself. so it's a gamble, maybe take a shot at it, and if you fail, then you know the answer, but if you don't fail, you have a full time exhaust system you won't have to take off the next time you go for testing either. |

Price reduced to clear.
Spring is coming. Get yourself some power. Some pics of the exhaust. Can be cleaned up easily with some polish.
