Installed E46 ///M Shift Knob (OEM Alum.)
My BMW: 135i M-Sport Convertible (E88)
Completed the first mod on my car today... A very subtle one. I got tired of the "special" M-Sport knob that came with my bimmer pretty quickly... so I decided to change it up a bit. I think the new knob goes better with my 135i, tbh (matches the door lock/unlock handles perfectly and blends in better with the G.Alum interior trim). I've only had the car for a few weeks, so plenty more changes to come in the future Old - 135i M-Sport knob (Stock BMW Photo): ****************************************** New - ///M Alum 6 speed OEM shift knob (Android Camera Phone): ****************************************** Top Angle View: ****************************************** Driver's view: |

I originally planned on changing my wood trim in my 330CI to aluminum... but I no longer own that vehicle and never went through with the swap. I held on to this shift knob, hoping that I would be able to use it one day in the future. Fast forward a year later, and I'm happy to see that it fits perfectly in the 1 series. Shifting feels a lot better (more comfortable) now. |
