Progress continues... Time to start putting the bottom end back together!

Love the updates. That engine is gorgeous. I assume Dinan machined those journals to eliminate any potential rod/main bearing issues that may or may not exist on the S65?

I am really excited to see this thing done. With the already lighter 1 Series/1M chassis as the foundation and modest weight savings from quality aftermarket components, this thing is going to rip when you pair it with a Dinan 4.6L S65.

I gotta ask: What wheels are you going to put on this? A big part of me would love to see some silver BBS E88s on this thing.

Yeah the engine is coming along nicely. The entire thing is cleaned and resurfaced to ensure proper fitment and assembly.

I can't wait to get the stroker in the car! Should be a blast.

Sorry to disappoint on the wheels, while they are BBS they are not E88s.

Engine looks great. And the FIs are a great choice. I had those on my M3 for awhile. They are a fantastic wheel. I am not sure they suited my car as well as the E88s, but I think they will look amazing on the 1M chassis.

Thanks! I think they will compliment the build well. Somewhat subtle but not too much!
