boost gauge pod ??

I like using a mechanical boost gauge. My question is Do they make gauge pods for our car other than behind the steering wheel or in the ashtrey?

I have been searching for a few days now and those are the only 2 styles I can find. I did see one that tucked into the windshield and a - pillar but I don't think they are available anymore.

Anyone know of any vent mounts, pillar mounts, overall better locations than the previous mentioned.

I don't want to spend 400 on a digital vent gauge. I currently use the JB4 fuel hijack but want to use my mechanical gauge.

You could look into the Awron gauge that goes into the middle dash vent. Looks clean and OEM.

I think the reason they don't sell A-pillar Gauge mounts is because they would be in between you and the airbag in the event of a collision where the pillar airbag is deployed.

The awron gauge does look good. It's just to expensive and the idea is to use mechanical.

Does anyone know of a similar vent holder to the ECS 335 for our 1? That would be ideal. Especially the left driver side vent.

I haven't found one.

I think your best options are
-ATI steering column gauge pod
-universal gauge pod stuck on dash somewhere
-hack up the air con vent yourself to make something like the ecs one.

I have a Defi Racer 60mm boost gauge I want to install as well. So far my only two choice are defrost vent or in the middle of the dash in a way similar to the chronometer found in porsche 911.

Sucks because it was so easy to fit in the round vent in my previous car.
