300+whp~Supercharged 128i ?
How nice would it be to Supercharge a lil 128i Coupe.
I like the idea alot myself even though I'm waiting inline for a 135i. I thought I would toss this out there to see what peoples thoughts were on such an idea of these sorts. :roundel:

Hum well yeah. But some people dont have the money for that. You could spend less than 35k total and make over 350whp all day w/the right blower!

I still bounce back & forth 128 >135 >128 >135.... IDK
But I see absolutely no merit in a 128 SC when you can roll the 135 with factory warranty. .... on the 3er, base cars there is $5K difference; I would expect the same differential on the 1er. Sooooo.... how much of that $5K do you really think would still be in your pocket? ...not much, if any.

The n52 128I verson can be upgraded buy OEM BMW parts to match the higher teir version of the same build (n52) . So you will be able to extract some good #'s out of the 128i after it is purchased, allowing for budgeting of those who couldn't quit get their hand on a 135i ..! So the aftermarket part of the 128i WILL be there. -Garrett |

WOW...and here I thought that maybe BMW wouldn't attract the immature tool bags that hound the likes of the Lancer forums saying things like "You wish you had an EVO"
Perhaps not everyone wants a 135...and not everyone can afford one. Personally the 128 fits the needs that I'm looking better then the 135. But hey, good luck proving that just because you have a 135 that it means "you're a big dick"...err, "have a big...", yeah the first way makes more sense... As for the idea of supercharging a 128...well it would be something, so if you like the idea, go for it. Right now I'll stick with the N/A motor...maybe down the line someday I might play around with making it F/I..:iono: |
