Quick update

It felt like it was time to move on so I partially de-modded and sold the 135i. Here's how she looked prior to being sold...

The replacement...

Bought a bone stock 2007 Corvette with the z51 package and promptly worked with Spartan LSX on my new daily (the fiancé has taken my beloved 2004 Mazda6 wagon lol). It sounds nasty and pulls like a freight train, yet still docile around town. Although less powerful than my previous 135i, the Corvette is tons more fun.

Spartan LSX's owner and chief engine builder, Josh, did an amazing job on the build. He spec'd everything himself, built it, then tuned it. It's running AI 243 heads, custom spec Cam Motion cam, FAST 92 intake manifold, VaraRam intake, TSP headers and x-pipe, and a C6 Z06 Borla Stinger axleback.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I blew my turbos out at the dragstrip last March and took it as an opportunity to upgrade...

Thanks to:
Tony@VTT (Stage 2+, inlets)
Dzenno@PTF (Cobb with maxboost!)
Jake@MOTIV (PI Kit, love me some e85)

VTT's Stage 2+ (20t unclipped)

Eurowise took great care of my 1er, especially after some minor issues after the install

Engine dropped

Current mods:
VTT Stage 2+ (20t unclipped)
VTT inlets
MOTIV PI
Cobb with MAXBoost tuned by Dzenno
cp-e DCI
Evolution Racewerks CP (TiAL Q BOV)
FUEL-IT Stage 2 LPFP
VRSF 7" FMIC
VRSF DPs
N55 mids
Remus Quads (ebay diffuser)
APEX EC-7 wheels (235/275 Pilot Sport AS3)
DR-37 wheels (245/45r17 NT555R)
Small diff bracket (135droptop)

Forgot this pic! Running COBB's S2 sport +fmic map on 93, will do more logs once the dme adapts fully and will go aggressive

I switched to the 261m wheels recently. I like them a lot but ended up going with a VMR set. Unfortunately the A/S 3s I bought aren't getting here until next week. Sssooooooo, I'll be staring at the new wheels for a little bit longer.

Tried to pinpoint an incessant, annoying rattle that turned out to be the dreaded downpipe/subframe problem. I tried to re-adjust the downpipes multiple times to no avail so I ended up modifying the heat shield a little bit. I also wrapped the area of the downpipe that was rubbing with some exhaust wrap I had laying around.

Afterwards, I did the natural thing and went to the track . Kinda disappointed in my times... 60ft could be better with track tires though. Pro-tune coming soon!!

Welcome! I have a LS2 GTO that I absolutely love, TVS1900 and 503 RWHP 495 ft/lbs of torque @ 8psi. I told myself I was going to leave the 135 stock for as long as I could. It lasted about 1 month. haha.

Thanks, man! I was thinking of the Bilstein B12 set or the OEM BMW performance suspension. But my new tires are a little tall so I'm not exactly sure how it's going to work out yet. Rear subframe bushing inserts and an e92 m3 swaybar is next on the list though.

The new tires I ordered came in unexpectedly today... So the new wheels are on!

I'm currently running a square set-up... VMR V701s, 18x8.5 et45 all around with 235/40 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s. I'm trying to avoid rubbing in the front and I kinda want the extra sidewall to deal with the crappy roads here in GA. The Michelin's are actually just as wide as my previous 245/35 Bridgestone runflats which was a nice suprise.

Love the ride so far

Not really feelin the wheels, but afterall it is your car.... I still like it though, and you're going the right direction with it. I'm slightly frustrated with the drag slips though... Trapping 111 with a 12.8, and 2.2 60ft... With my damn DCT I couldn't do better than a 2.4 60ft, but I trapped 116 @ 12.9.... frustrating lol, I need to go back with better tires.

Yeah, I actually picked these wheels since not a lot of folks run them. I wanted ARC-8s due to their weight, but I decided that I could use the $$ difference for other stuff. Tires make all the difference lol. Sticky tires should get you 1.8x 60ft and somewhere around 12.2x. Nice trap speed, it's a better indicator of power anyways. I'll go back with these A/S 3s and try to get a sub 2.0 60ft, hopefully put me around 12.4x.

I love it! Its hands down the best thing I have ever bought myself. The interior is really nice (especially compared to other GM products), it rides/handles great, and has tons of power. It was my first brand new car so maybe Im biased but I love my GTO.
