Machiavelli, it looks lower in winter mode???

Mine is the same lowered height for the winter. Clearance isnt an issue still!

Thanks! They're a spendy cosmetic mod, especially when you opt for the CF caps but I really like them. I think they look miles better then the LCI mirror aka Dumbo Ears.

I should have been more clear, "pre-" and "post-snow" pics are of the same winter setup. I didn't change the ride height at all during changeover from summer. Maybe it appears that way because the winter combo has slightly higher offsets and is a bit stretched in the rear?

Ride height can be a concern for me when snow builds up down the centre of a lane and starts to freeze. However, my CF snow plow has been up to the task.

The 1M mirrors are a direct swap with 135i mirrors. You just need to get the correct combo for your vehicle (heated/autodim/folding etc) and bolt them on. I found this thread, courtesty of 'dr.bmw' in the DIY section: here
