BMS angel eye mod and adaptive headlight failure
I'm sure there are a lot of threads on this but I'm on my mobile and can't properly search. Anyways, I followed all the instructions posted on the bms site for install and went on my way with the GF for a 800mile trip. Started hitting some bumps and the adaptive headlight warning came on. We pulled out the ballasts and moved them and put the caps back on. Shortly after leaving code free the light came on again and I lost my headlights completely. All I have are the angel eyes. I can't drive at night right now and I'm no where near a BMW dealership for atleast 200 miles. Can anyone help? Can buy regular bulbs to throw back in angel eyes and clear the code with the jb4? Sorry guys I'm really not that mechanically savvy ( which wasn't require said bms' website for the install).
TIA

Yikes yeah that's why for a lack of a better way to say it.... I don't half ass my upgrades. I had problems also with those half ass upgrade BMS led. You need either alpine or lux. In the mean time stop at an autozone and throw in some h8 halogen bulbs. Clear the codes via the jb4 and pray. You can also try disconnecting the battery in the trunk for 30 minutes and allow the system to reset. You may be headed for headlamp replacements though my friend. Take those horrible BMS out! They have wrecked tons of adaptive headlamps. I love BMS but hate those AA's. Best of luck!!!
