Tire/Wheel Fitment Question! Help please!

Hi guys, I plan on purchasing the Yokohama Advan RZs 18" set really soon

but my RFTs are already in need of replacing, they are basically bald

so i want to buy tires that will fit both my OEMwheels for the time-being and keep the same set of tires for when I get the Advans.

The Advan RZ 18" dimensions are such:

Front: 18" - 8.0 et45
Rear: 18" -9.0 et50

The recommended tire size for the Advan RZ's are

225/35 R18 and 255/30 R18

If i buy some Michelin PS2s in the tire size listed above, will they fit my OEM wheels for now?

Thanks so much,
I know nothing about wheels and tires

No worries. Just pointing out that there are answers elsewhere.

I believe the sizes should be 225/40/18 and 255/35/18

Again, there are answers in the other identical thread, including that info.

The correct size for the 18" set is 225/40 and 255/35. Which will fit fine on your oem wheels

If you go with the 225/40-18 fronts and 255/35-18 tires, they'll be able to fit on the stock wheels, and also the new Advans that you pick up. If you need help w/ tires, or if you are looking to get some Advans through us, just send me a PM, I'll help you out

Since absolutely nobody else will help you, I think that the 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 fitment would work better for sure. Surprised nobody helped you by now. Honestly.
