Black Market Racing 3.5" straight pipe exhaust

Good afternoon everyone,

Just thought i'd share my exhaust Black marker racing just finished up for me. should be here next week and will have sound clips as soon as possible for you guys.

Instead of the normal midpipe muffler they use i decided to be a little more extra and have a race muffler installed instead. let me know what you guys think😅

I have the regular BMR exhaust. Install was such a pain in the ass, but i absolutely love it. You will notice the sound is very deep and not raspy at all like every other aftermarket exhaust for the N54. With the resonator, I dont have any drone on the highway at all. I only have drone is 3K - 3.5K rpms and with the windows up, radio on, its hardly noticeable. but with windows down it's definitely there.

when you first start up the car after installing your gonna say holy shit and be shocked at how loud it is, but after a couple weeks of driving you will get used it it. ALL in ALL, its not as extremely loud as people think. It certainly is one of the loudest options for our cars, but not by a significant amount. the tone sounds so great

I also have VRSF catless downpipes too

If they are both straight pipes, sound should be similar

Looks awesome. I'm looking forward to a sound clip as well. Curious how much of a difference the lack of resonator will make. I'm pretty sure this is the option I will end up with, except with the resonator.

What's up everyone the exhaust is finally here! arrived in great packaging and everything needed for install is included BESIDES downpipe gaskets. i'd recommend picking up a new set of the pair on the car already is toast. Have my old berk street cat back off the car and ready to put on the BMR exhaust tomorrow. here are some pictures of the exhaust and the old berk muffler in comparison.

Great thread! I literally just made a whole separate thread on how I feel the BMR exhaust is the best sound for our cars (more specifically the N54)

Here is a youtube video I recently made on the BMR exhaust with VRSF catless downpipes with some first and second gear WOT clips.
