Fumoto/Qwik Valve
I know this has been discussed before, but thought I would ask again, since it has been awhile. Has anyone tried a Fumoto/Qwik valve on their 128i? I know it slows the draining time, but I thought it would really help prevent splashes/spills from the plastic underbody cover design over the oil pan.

I have one on my 135i and love it for the reason you mentioned. There is no splashing oil onto the belly pan. You are correct in that it does slow down the oil change drain time, but that's when I'm doing the filter change.

I have one on my 135i as well. It is the version with the nipple so I just put a silicone hose on it and let it drain. No more oil in the belly pan.

I just stuff a rag on the side to keep it from splashing over into the engine splash cover. One old sheet ripped into pieces can do a lot of oil changes, and doesn't cost me anything. That's just me though, cheap on things I don't need to spend money on.

I have a Form-A-Funnel I use to keep it from splashing on the cover, but I have no problems spending $30 for a valve to make my life even easier.
