Dear 1Addicts,

Due to the popular demand, we are going to do a 1-time 10 set build of the HI-Meta Bronze for the 1er. Without a 10 set order, this color will not be possible. For those interested in the RE30 Black Machining, please check out this Thread

Fitment is:
18 - 8.0 +40
18 - 9.0 +45

Here is a picture of the wheel.
Since the wheel is not yet available in the US, there are no pictures of the wheels on a 1er.

Price is $3300 shipped (lower 48 states) for this 10 set run.
Regular price on the wheels is $3760/set + shipping.

Please feel free to call/pm for more information.

Would like to get the list started:

9.
10.

Thank you for all the support!

More clear pictures of the wheel's finish even on other cars would be great. I am still trying to get an idea of what this color looks like.

Love these wheels! I'm very interested. I'm curious as to whether or not by changing the offset a little in the rear would let us get a bit more tire on in the back with no rubbing. Or, if by doing this it would create too much of a stagger front/rear causing handling issues.

Check out post #17 of this thread:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...ight=forgeline

"Front is +24. Won't fit stock fender. We have a wide body front end.
Rear is +62. Will fit stock fender. Ours are not modified."

I'm not sure, but I believe Volk could make something with this type of offset, because I think the S2000 requires a similar offset.

Johan,

Thanks for the PS...it's good enough for me. Unfortunately, the price is whats driving ppl away on this. I know they are Volks, but $3300 is pretty pricey for rims that will of course need tires too.

Volk prices are tough but that's just what forged wheels cost. Some flashy brands cost more but most users will tell you that Volks are the best constructed. When you factor in that you'll probably never damage them and even fuel savings and performance improvements due to weight savings, it's doable.

I was just cleaning the used set of LE's that I bought. They were made in 2003, I have no idea how many miles they were used, but they look practically new except some dings around the lugs from bad installers.

But as a few have mentioned, they better be exactly the style and offset you want at such a price.

The offset could be better for 225/255 setup. Both front and rears should be a little higher.

is 18 - 8.0 +45 front and 18 - 9.0 +48 rear, the general consensus?

Is anyone interested in this offer? I'm just wondering if we should officially scrap the idea.

Thanks everyone for the interest!

Volks are one of the best wheels on the market period...

The offsets are awesome!

The price is well

I paid big money for my TE-37's (E46 ///M3) and they were worth every penny... Reps are now all I can afford...

I would love to jump in on this..but 3300 just for the rims is hard to justify.
Now if it came with tires and tpms and all....I could make this happen.
But...it won't so..i'll have to pass.

+1

I loved these rims until I saw the price. I didn't even have to think twice about turning away from them at that price, although I'm sure they're top notch.

Maybe this will help as someone posted pics on babybmw forum of these wheels (albeit not bronze) on a 1 series hatch..

18in Volk Racing RE 30 Forged wheels measuring 8J +40 front and 8.5J +42 rear shod with 225/40 n 245/40 Falken RT615 semi track tires.

Enjoy
