Just got a 135i - warranty question

I just got a 08 135i - 48k miles on it, so like 2k miles left on the warranty.

Is there anything i should do to make sure my car is tip top shape? Can i just go to bmw dealer and have them diagnose my car or does something has to be wrong?

I mainly worry about the turbo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

I bought mine used as well, I took it into the local service center to get to know my service advisor and to see if they could just look over the car and see if its in good shape and to check my service schedule to see when my next oil change/etc is.

I'd make an appointment and just talk to them, chances are you'll have a pretty friendly service advisor and let him know your concerns.

Have them do the wnd of warranty inspection.
Shouldnt cost too much.
Also I would recommend looking for problems (rattles, noises, any hiccups) now before it runs out.

brakes are really sensitive, makes noises when i let go of it slightly ... thats really it. Does it goes anything to go in and do a check up under warranty?

When i bought it from the BMW dealer they did the ez care warranty check up to make sure its valid for the extended warranty in which i did not get. replaced a few parts on the car as well.

I'm taking my car in tomorrow -

I am going to mention
1. spark plugs replacement @ 45k miles
2. cold/normal start rattle
3. long ignition time sometimes like 5 secs after you press the button
4. auto window up sometime stop for no reason
5. cabin squeaks
6. brakes sensitivity and slight squeaks

anything else i need to mention for them to check? I have a aftermarket ingen intake and berk axleback exhaust. hope they wont give me any problems for those. my warranty is about to be up in 300 miles.

I have a 2012 and this is still an issue. It's not too bad though.. I notice it the most if I try to do both windows at once.. It's like the logic gets all out of whack.

Show the SA one on the lot that works, re show him yours that does not, throw him the keys and tell him to call you when it does like the new one on the lot.

Good idea for getting your point across but keep in mind one thing. Do not piss off your SA

they recalibrate my window - works perfect every time.

Your plugs were replaced at 45k.....
