Update! I contacted CRD about their intake manifold. New is its for sell to the public for those who ask. I'm looking into it now for pricing and what adapter will be needed from them. Keep you guys updated.

Nice! Can you ask about street application- hp curve, any gains?

Could be a good, pretty, one-time fix for the DISA flap hazard.

I'd ask about how to relocate the Oil separator piping and manifold pressure sensors.

You would need a dyno tune to get the most of of it

And an equally track focused exhaust on the other end that also sacrifices all low end power.

Good news we can buy it, and it includes every needed to bolt right up and reuses stock throttle body. I was a bit confused seeing that we don't have a throttle body like other cars correct? The bad news the price is crazy insane. 7500 USD. I am hoping that is a typo haha! I plan to visit their shop this fall. They are located in NC and that's where I am moving too! Lucky me lol.

Just got my car back after it's first ever trip to the dealer! The passenger seat occupancy sensor delaminated and bunched up. For 5 days I had a F30 328i 8spd loaner. I missed my bare bones entry level BMW! The steering feel and interior sucked on the F30! I like my wife's g37 more than the F30 -it actually has better seats and better steering feel. While the N20 was significantly faster, the engine note did nothing to inspire me. The 4 cylinder in my E30 sounds waaay better, though not as nice as the N52. I guess I'm keeping the 128 at the end of the lease.

I suspect that significantly faster feeling was merely torque.

I think the M20 is one of the coolest sounding engines out there. Sounds like a silk being spun on a sewwing machine. Amazing.

It's been 15 years since I sold my last M20... It did sound awesome, but an M30 with a big single pipe Fahey exhaust and a intake... that one you'll never forget. Of course I got 12 city 19 highway... That sucking sound you heard was probably more fuel than air!
