the nude look
Debadged myself this afternoon, very happy with the results.
Used some Colgate dental floss to remove the 4 characters and then some TurtleWax Bug and Tar remover to get rid of the glue my thumb-nail didn't shift. No fine scratches or spider-webbing as a result. I've put some Meguirs ScratchX and a coat of TechWax over the top to bring it back up to par. Despite a moment of thinking "omg I'm vandalising my own car" at the beginning I'm very happy with the result and love the simple, nude look of the rear end now. Knowing you lot, I thought I should mention it's not to make room for an a ///M, STi or TRD badge. |

I've been giving more thought to this recently actually. Reason being that i seem to attract all these dick heads who tailgate me from 5cm wanting to get some reaction out of me. Most of the time i don't bother, why is it that these hyundais with p plates and their 500hp fart cannon seem to think they can take on anything?
I think it has mostly to do with the 135 badge. Most of the time i just want to cruise and enjoy my car peacefully! Matty did you have to apply any heat to a melt the glue or was the floss by itself enough to do the trick? |

Does it have to be Colgate floss? I've got some Oral B.

Looking at my naked bum... mine came naked - so don't have to deal with flossing.

Please excuse the reflections in the paint of me and my wheelie bin, I'm a wheel-man, not a papparazzo

OK I have succumbed to this post!
Debadged mine this arvo, very pleased with the results. As I have all external 135 options my only give away are the fog lights, but I love the look of them. Thanks for the incentive to go nude. |
